Mike Wallace dead at 93

Mike Wallace of '60 Minutes' dies at 93. I pretty much grew up watching him and Morley Safer etc on Sunday nights.

Didn't realize he & Andy Rooney were so close in age.

I got depressed when I heard that stop watch ticking on Sunday night when I was a kid. My homework was not done or done poorly......tick, tick, tick, tick....

My wife thought Rusty was the oldest

Are we sure Abe is still alive? I mean, has anyone actually seen him lately????

I looked this morning, but couldn't find it.....

Local paper did a story on Andy Rooney, he's from Rennsealearville just ourside Albany, NY. He talked about he and Mike Wallace both having Lamboroghinis (sp chk) and blistering through the back roads between Albany and Mike's place in Connecticut.

Funny to see a 90 year old guy climb out of a flashy red car to get the Sunday paper.

Yeah, Mike really loved fast cars and speed. Remember him talking about it on 60 mins one night.
