Still doesn't properly explain. I'm tentatively Googling Butt boobies.

I feel like we need a description, in picture form, of what butt-boobs are. Because I don't think that I agree with Shadeux. Boobs in any form are delightful.

Fake asses, either padded or silicone. Often seen in ridiculously tight yoga pants with a crease right up the ass crack for maximum cleavage.

There's also a process called "cupping" in which big suction devices are placed on the ass cheek, which I can only assume pulls additional blood etc into the ass cheek, thereby making it more ass-tacular?

Confirmed: mtn has not seen octogenarian boobies.

My mind combined these two post and it wasn't pretty.  I can't wash my mind's eye clean.

I understand why women wear leggings all the time now.

I am resistant to long pants, but it has been unreasonably cold in Florida as of late. That lead me to investigate under layers and end up in a running store, buying compression running pants.

They're unbelievably comfortable. Even as long pants.

I can confirm I have seen the result of those two combined (it was not on me) and it does shocking things. The internet is a weird place.

There's a Mexican grocery store with a lunch counter about 40 minutes from us. They also have a takeout restaurant across town.

About once a month we go early to the grocery store so we can get one of their incredible breakfast burritos at the lunch counter, eat it, then stock up on Mexican food supplies. We then drive across town to the restaurant and get another burrito to take home for dinner.

Until fall 2022, the last time I ran a car out of gas was in the mid-90's, and even then it was close enough I made it into a gas station before it died.  In October, my S10 dies on the way back from a scrap run.  After some diagnosis work - out of gas.  I had a ton of trouble getting the Beetle into the garage for winter storage.  Today, weather was nice enough to try diagnosing the problem.  Out of gas.  At least on the S10, the gauge turns out to be off, and 1/4 tank means almost empty, but the Beetle's gauge is accurate, so all I had to do a few months ago was put a little fuel in the tank, and I'd have been fine.

My confession: pepperoncini.  I will literally sit down and eat an entire giant jar of those in one sitting if left unsupervised.

I've had three cars in the ten years that I've really been driving, none of them have had accurate fuel gauges. I've run out of gas probably 15 times because I'm a dumb dumb.

Love the little lady - married almost 36 years next month - she makes me laugh -she's a great partner.

I confess she's had some health issues the past month and can push me over the edge with me being the caretaker along with Mr. Mom.

It's not her fault but man it's not going very smoothly- my out is making 50 comments a day on the GRM Forum so I apologize to you all.

Next time you do run her dry, make a note of the trip mileage. I reset after every fill up, and start planning a gas stop when I'm bingo fuel.

Cars are only a small reason we are all here. The rest is helping each other, if we are really honest about it .  No need to apologize .  Ever.

As a kid, I thought that Subaru was an Australian car brand for a very long time. Between the fact that they had a trim called Outback and they had an Aussie guy doing the voiceovers for their ads, it just made sense.

That's not just some guy, that's Paul Hogan. You know him as Crocodile Dundee.

I'm glad the real estate thread exists. Not for the content, because its barely contained excrement, but glad that it's a place for the shouty ones to shout at each other and has left all the other threads relatively drama free.

I prefer the fully manual, 40+ year old Minolta Rokkor MD lenses on my modern Canon R5 camera over the expensive Canon glass I've purchased, because the experience is so much more fun, and they just deliver an image that's more then sharp enough for mere mortal eyes.

Given the age of that movie, it is probably the other way around for a lot of Americans.

YouTube clip: "You call that a knife? THIS is a knife"

Person: Hey it is the guy from the Subaru ads!

It works both ways, like this McDonald's ad that features that one guy who was on ST:TNG that one time.

Speaking of TNG and commercials, remember when Pontiac commercials were voiced over by Professor X?

(heh, PeteMom leased one of those. The car's value after four years was WAY higher than the purchase option, so she bought it and traded it in... for another Grand Am.  And ObConfession, I still think the '91 GA with white letter 14" tires looks AWESOME)

Well, they don't make the sandwich anymore smiley  They had the environmentally disastrous double sized Styrofoam containers, IIRC those were the thing that shamed the fast food companies into using paper or cardboard to wrap things.

The actor is probably not recognizable to most people because he still had hair in 1985 smiley  I am not a face recognizing person but his voice is easy to spot for me.

I never even watched Seinfeld but I guess a lot of people did.  I heard that show's lead is into cars or something, old four cylinder Porsches or some such thing.

edit:  I had to look it up... and I was wrong.  Jason Alexander was in an episode of ST:Voyager, not TNG.  David Ogden Stiers (another actor with an easy to spot voice and shiny head, think Maj. Charles Winchester III) was in TNG.

I'm a fiddler. I just can't help myself.

Monday I was looking for something in the back of the shop and saw something else. Hey, that would probably fit... Then I carried on with what I was doing. But I couldn't get it out of my head. So Tuesday after dinner, the Spark was up in the air and I was taking measurements. Yup, I can make that fit, and by the time it was time for me to go in and drink beer, the Spark was sporting a dandy little SS Magnaflow, and sounding pretty good. I took that muffler off a parts car, probably a dozen or so years ago, I can probably use this someday. Apparently I'm a pack rat too.
