Nothing, I didn't do it I swear!

Ok minor confession, I don't buy much on craigslist, and when I have purchased I didn't haggle. I found what I wanted for a price I thought was fair, and paid in cash in full when the thing proved to be exactly as advertised. Call me a sucker if you want, I'd gladly pay the additional $5 for the convenience of not dealing with haggling. Yes, $5. I don't buy cars on CL, I buy cheap crap only. The most expensive thing was $35.

Edit: yes I realize now I implied 'cars' don't qualify as cheap crap, despite being on the GRM forum where those don't prove to be mutually exclusive.

Minor confession:

My neices are really into a musical group called "One Direction" (yeah, annoying tweenie-music...) and they are distraught that one of the members of the group is quitting.

They posted something really emotional on the book of faces about it.

It is taking a considerable amount of willpower to NOT reply "I guess he decided that he had to go... In a separate Direction!"

I am new to the family (just got married 6 months ago). Why do I want to mess with them so badly?

(edit: they really are cute and I love them to pieces, but I guess I am just posessed of that much schadenfreude)

My wife is getting lasic next week. While I am happy she will be able to see better I am sad that her glasses will be going away. Nerdy girls are hot.

My wife had a bad allergic reaction to something a few years ago. She had all the classic symptoms of anaphylaxis: low blood pressure, difficulty breathing, hives, swelling of the face, etc...

When I took her to the emergency room, the doctor said to me, "I don't know what she normally looks like. How does she look to you?"

I said, "Honestly, she looks ten years younger".

I was not familiar with One Direction but I guess they are fairly cute.

Likewise, but... Okay, when I had my Ford, I listened to a lot of Metallica and White Zombie. When I had my Subaru, I listened to a lot of Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson and Pantera. When I had my Golf, I listened to a lot of Fear Factory. A LOT of Fear Factory. I think I exclusively had Remanufacture in there for six or eight months. I have a Volvo now. In it, I mostly listen to... soft jazz? WTF?
The first time I got stabbed was at a Fear Factory concert.
The first time?¿
second time was a gf. she used a pencil, mercifully.

I was stabbed in the leg with a pencil in 7th grade. I found it to be a rather unpleasant experience.

I still have a big chunk of graphite pencil lead in my shin from 7th grade. The guy in front of me took exception to me kicking his chair out from under him when he was leaning back on 2 legs.

That's three, I wonder how commonplace it is to be shanked with a pencil?

Haha, I'll join the pencil lead still in me list. Got in a fight with a bully in 7th grade. Ended with me pinning him in a head lock. We both got suspension, me in school, him out for starting it. Day he got back, stabbed me in the back of the neck/head when I was at my locker. He spent a bit more time out of school for that one.

I thought I was the only guy with pencil lead. There's a chunk still in my left leg just above the knee, a result of a fracas in 4th grade.

But there's also still lead in my pencil.
