I never got this candy either. It also was confusing with the Catholicism wafer.
Or these things: "Hey, I just scored a truckload of leftover sidewalk chalk. Let's mix it up with some plaster dust and a little medicinal flavoring concentrate. Kids will love it! Actually, who cares if kids love it? Grandparents will think kids love it, and that's all that matters!"

yeah … all the wonderful recipes that get posted … so many of them for sweets that I'd LOVE to try … but at least that I'm now on injectable insulin I can occasionally slip in a doughnut and know that I'm not going to hit 300 on my glucometer
I am not usually a big donut fan except for these glazed ones from a bakery near my inlaws outside of Albany. They brought me 6 on Thursday that didn't make it to the weekend.

One glazed, one chocolate glazed, one cream filled, and one jelly filled. It was glorious.
Nutana bakery here does a glazed, then chocolate glazed doughnut that is as close to crack as you can get.
The only time I play the "can I have a free room upgrade" card is in Burlington VT so I can have a lake view. I always feel like a DB when I do it.
I fuss at other people's kids if I see them doing something stupid. I will also fuss at their parents if they make an issue of it.
I also get very irritated if my own kids do something differently than I would do it, even if it still works. I keep my mouth shut, though, as I realize that is a personal problem, not anything to do with them.
I've turned into an old man.

Oh thank deity!
Reading everyone fawning over that crap started to make me think I was the only one.
yeah … I love our comics … about the only thing left worth reading in our "world class" newspaper …as they tried calling themselves several yrs ago
now they can't even field their own paper … every day and 2 sections of the Sunday paper are USATODAY
I got tired of Peanuts a LONG LONG time ago … after Charles Schulz died, our paper has been running reprints of Peanuts … but I'd almost be afraid of what they'd replace it with if they ever decided to drop the strip
