I'm doing my first HPDE road track day this weekend but I have very mixed feelings about it. I think I'd be more excited about getting back to an autocross.

Once you've had the big track, you will be a afflicted with the Need For Speed...

I've been sick for the last couple of days, or I could have had my ashed forehead

My 13 year old Saab 9-5 got hit last Wednesday. With its age and the 235K miles on it I am not holding my breath on it getting fixed so I have been looking at the Regal GS. I really never thought I would be looking at a Buick but from what I have read it is very much an updated version of my 9-5.
I bought said car in previous confession. Have been shopping for stereos again in earnest. I'm knocking at 42's door.

I spent ten minutes on crutchfield.com before I realized I'm not 17 anymore...When I got my GS430, I fixed (and upgraded) the factory subwoofer and CD changer before even getting the engine running. That way I could sit in it and jam out in the garage if I needed a break from rebuilding the top end of the motor. I turn 40 this year.

Was impressed w/ my Dad's '14 Verano over the Cruze as a commuter. Regal GS AWD changed everything and I might trade the '09 E92 if I could find a loaded used one '14 up. No dice though. New are 35K plus, prolly gotta wait tho, might be some model year closeout deals.
I likes me some Buicks tho, thought I'd never say that.

yeah, maybe, but I don't think I'll be afflicted with the "need to drop $1000++ per weekend to drive fast for 3 hours." I'm sure it will be fun, but the fpd (fun per dollar) seems out of whack.
Just came home from work unannounced to find a craigslist tab open on the laptop. Wife has been browsing MGBs in my absence.
I love my wife.

Are you sure she wasn't just checking your browser history?

I put 42000 miles on my Verano since I bought it last May and Ive been very happy with it. They had some big rebates on them last year too so I got about $5000 off. They had some good deals on Regals as well at the time but they were still more than I could spend.

I just might be spoiled being able run at Hallett. $125 for five 15 minutes sessions.

Even the newest Buick model? The Cascada? (Awful name IMHO). It means Waterfall in Spanish
I pretend to like Dunkin Donuts coffee so my Mother In Law will stop trying to convince me its somehow better than than the normal gas station swill I prefer.

I've tried but can't find anything that holds my interest more than two seconds.
I have gone from having a casual interest in Neil Gaiman to being a full fledged fanboi in the last month.
