Can't have bridesmaids without brides. It's an interesting show.
Had a fever for a week now with no signs of improvement. Sleeping ~12 hours a day and hacking all day isn't great going into finals week at school. Looking forward to a night of good sleep one of these weeks
My Fiesta 1.0 came in on dealer trade.
From NY.
With front plate bracket installed.
It is RIVETED to front bumper.
Wife thinks car looks like "Hitler Cat".

I believe "Kitler" is the technically correct term. Or so SWMBO, cat enthusiast, tells me...
My rant: Stupid, lazy, careless people doing stupid, lazy, careless things. What would have taken 5 extra minutes to do right in the first place is now going to take hours upon hours of rework to fix.
The cold and damp and 3 days of interior work in the cold and damp has set into my knees and ankle. Getting older blows.

Yup... the weather turning cold has unfortunately made me aware that my repaired tendon and the foot/ankle attached to it are apparently not going to be happy in cold weather.
Am going to have to leave work early in a bit to head out to the optometrist- I woke up this morning with one eye feeling line it had something large stuck in it and found that it's got a swollen spot on it that needs to be looked at. I don't mess around when it comes to anything with my eyes- I'm far too fond of them to take any chances...

He just wants everybody to think he is a stud.

He was getting married the next morning and he, the other groom and the rest of the group went out together. His mother didn't need to know he lost his shorts the night before.
Holy E36 M3, when did photobucket become such a nightmare to use? I tried to get some old pics off of there to sell off some random crap, and even with adblock it's unusable. I'm now trying to download all of my pictures, which is apparently going to be a huge battle too.

He also didn't need to worry about them. Its underwear, not an expensive piece of clothing. If they are gone, they are gone, go buy another pack from Walmart (you're probably due as most of us are). The loss of your underwear after a night of debauchery is the sort of story you tell to people personally while imbibing frosty beverages, not via a social media post. Then again, most people are inherently lacking in common sense.
In reply to Stefan:
This. Posting an inquiry for the location of the shorts you misplaced the night before is almost the definition of a humblebrag.
Did he also rant about how his Magnum prophylactics keep ripping apart or would that be too obvious even for him???

They probably fail at the stitches where his gramma takes them in so they'll fit.
Seriously stupid people I work with of the world stop throwing stones at me and the people I work with. I am bigger smarter and a good bit better at documentation then all of you and I don't take kindly. HR just got the folder of all the vindictive stuff you have done. Could care less that you did it to me, I am an adult, but take it out on people who have no power under you and damn right I will take offense.
If you treated someone my size and strength on the street like this this you would be missing teeth and the last week of memories. Just because we are all wearing dress clothes does not make it ok.
I know how you feel Weary. We have complained to management for years about how our boss treats us. His default stance on all things is that we screwed up. He never asks what happened, he goes right to telling you to never do it again.
Yesterday at work, one of the food servers got electrocuted (not our fault and she is fine) Banquets has heat lamps to keep food warm while being served or used in a buffet. They store and put them out and all we do is plug them in (and run power to them if necessary) and one of them had an internal short.
If you had grabbed it, you would have been fine. She made the mistake of grabbing two of them, one in each hand, at the same time and that short made a connection to the ground wire on the good one. This put 120volts and 15 amps up one arm, across her chest and heart, and down the other. She locked on and somebody had to yank the cords to free her.
My boss, rather than just handing the lamps over to security like he was asked to, got into a yelling match with HIS boss over it. He finally handed them over, but not until he tested them. This was done in front of us, security, and several suits. It also follows the firing of one of his equals last week for stealing hours and the loss of our assistant Director a couple of days ago in fall out from the earlier firing.
I need popcorn
Amazon delayed my ENTIRE order for shipping. These are some of the x-mas presents for the little ones. Order was placed on Dec 4th and now they have changed the shipping dates again from arriving today or yesterday for that matter to Dec 23rd and Dec 24th. Way too close for comfort. I am not liking this.

When I was 15 I was clean up boy for a condo builder and we used to sit on a concrete step and eat lunch.
Some older guy comes by and tells me not to sit on concrete cause I'll get piles. What's that old man? Piles?
We have to put our time off requests in to a book 30 days before the date we want off. At the end of the year they give us a check for our unused vacation time. Today we found out that they have taken our time to calculate the checks but didn't look to see if anyone put requests in the book. We have on guy in the Bahamas listed as awol because they took his time back, I'm not getting the day I thought I was this Saturday, and the guy in the office said they did this so we'd have extra money at Christmas. Then we got an email the money will be with our paychecks on 12/29.

I assume you're union? I'd file a complaint, if not a lawsuit. Do not mess with my PTO.
When I'm taking the majority of my day, which is time that I don't exactly have to spare, to help you on your project, don't spend the whole berkeleying day looking over my shoulder offering your worthless input and suggestions. Make yourself useful elsewhere, or otherwise figure it out for yourself and let me go back to my own work. Your input is of zero value and you're just pissing me off and distracting me.

If that happened to me, I'd sue them fast enough and for big enough that I'd be living in the Bahamas.
