I have to admit that I have hemmoroids.
Talk about a pain in the ass!!
Now i gotta go tell the doc to take a good look where the sun don't shine and tell me what's goin on!
Could be worse, I guess.
I could be in his shoes, and have to see what HE has to look at!
Right there with you. Only i still refuse to have the doctor look at my cornhole. Guess it doesn't hurt bad enough yet.
I'm sick of people being unwilling to listen to truth. Open minded people seem to be the least willing to learn facts and concrete principles that will save/change their lives. Feelings and sound bytes are the only things they'll listen to. Hyperbole to illustrate;
"You're drowning. Take this rope."
"I'm not drowning and you're mean for saying I am." (Drowns, dies)
There is nothing new under the sun and kids haven't listened for millennia but when I'm right and can help and you're wrong and need help, take the dang rope!
There's a political and religious component to my rant. Pm me to discuss your thoughts.

Been tryin to deny it for a while. Might have to bite the bullet and go under the knife.
More embarrasing than anything. Already had the scope, so at least it's nothing too serious.
Butt Still....

Mom's Rendezvous goes in for intake manifold gaskets tomorrow. Have to see what this costs me.
When we were doing 3-4 of them a month, a shade under $700 including the mandatory oil change. Our labor rate was only $85 back then.
I hate that I even know that, or that I still remember the exact sequence of disassembly and reassembly to maximize efficiency. On the bright side, all the salt they put on the roads means that most of those cars are long gone so I'll never have to do it again. (But I'll still remember how)
surprisingly (not!) they could not find a thing wrong with the car. Yes, the intake is weeping a little bit of oil around the gaskets (I knew that) but they had it running around the area and idling for an hour and it never overheated, they didn't smell any burning coolant, and they didn't find any leaks..
This is the second mechanic who couldn't find an issue, I guess this problem has to wait until a catastrophic failure or this spring when I might get my mom a newer Buick.
Yet another example of why people hate the top 1%. My ex's husband who was a VP for a printer company and earned at least 8X what I do until last year when his company was sold to the Chinese and he was "fired". I found out the other day from the kids that the reason things have been so comfortable for that household lately is that his severance included (that I know of) an entire year of paychecks! If a normal person gets canned for whatever reason they don't get more than a smack on the ass on their way out the door but someone whose salary is hovering in the half-mil range gets a year off with pay. F-ing amazing.

My wife's company (a large one, based in the US) recently had a merger and in preparation for that, a lot of people were excessed. I'm talking regular working folks, not necessarily upper management, though they were included too.
No one got less than a year's salary, plus bonus based on how long they'd been employed there.
It's not all the 1% berking over the rest of us.
$2.25 for a 16oz cup oof watered down Coke? You can get a full on tub of soda at McDonald's for a buck. I won't make that mistake again. Up yours Burger King.
Okay, gotta ask...
What’s with all the cougarmellon screen names?
not a rant, just curious.

My rant for the day-
Why is it so uncommon for people to take pride in their work anymore?
took a pass-on job from day shift the other day, and the off-going mechanic tells me “yep, just button it up and it’ll be ready to go”
Yeah, ready to go... except for the two seized bearings you missed that caused this mess in the first place, a bent shaft, and a valve so bad that it won’t shut off the freshwater sprays to the machine. What would’ve been a two hour job if you did it right to begin with took me five hours to fix all your berkeleying laziness!!!
I hate people that collect paychecks.

My Amazon Prime order says Monday expected delivery... It's Wednesday, I ordered before noon, it should be here Friday.
Is there a holiday I forgot about between now and then?
In reply to SaltyDog :
My guy sent me to another guy. After discussion he says to lay on the table on my side.
“You’re gonna to feel some pressure”............no E36 M3!
In reply to RevRico :
I have contacted customer service on this very issue with prime orders, they gave a 5$ credit towards my next purchase fulfilled by amazon.
Nintendo Super NES Classic be damned. Twice, I tried to secure a purchase at the stores and was too late both times despite being in line by 7am. Store did not open at one until 8 and the other at 10. Both times only 12 tickets were given out. I was #15 at one and #21 at the other so I was SOL. I have been trying to get one since beginning of September in preparation of getting one for my daughter's upcoming birthday in two weeks. Today, I was told by a friend this morning that Target will have some online at 10am for Redcard customers. Cool, 10am rolls around and it goes live. 10:01 after getting to the link, bam...sold out!!!! WTF!!!! I really felt like this whole thing is a scam just to get people to visit the website or store for no damn good reason. Thanks for pissing me off and soon to be having a disappointed birthday kid. Side note, I did check CL, Offer up and Let it go and Jesus H Christ... all over $140+. It kills me to see a picture of a guy having 10 of them on his table flipping them for maximum profit. End rant.
I need to just berkeleying relax about my wife getting hired. The choice is bothering me more than her.

Not exactly a rant, but I'm about to ref 16 hockey games in 3 days. The first 14 will probably include at least 20 future NHL players. I don't think I'm exaggerating.
Heres to hoping I'll be able to walk on Monday.
Dear Facebook Tough Guy,
The reason your town hasn’t been targeted by terrorists has little to do with everyone being armed on the third shift at the rubber dog E36 M3 factory and more to do with the town barely appearing on a map. Also, every time you refer to yourself as the Sheepdog keeping the rest of the country safe I picture that goofy dog from the Loony Toons cartoons.
I hate sanding.. that is all

Just ringing? This should be in the Good Mood thread! When you get the "alien parasite's eating my brain and there's nothing I can do about it" pain, then you can complain.

My bosses took us (well, 4 out of 5 of us anyway) to lunch and for an indoor karting session to celebrate my 10th anniversary with the company yesterday. It was about 2 months too late, but that's not the rant.
The one guy who I was really looking forward to beating dropped out at the last minute, but that's only kind of the rant.
The rant is that I have helmet-mounted GoPro video of all 3 8-minute races... except that I couldn't take my phone on course with me, and thus I couldn't preview the framing. I now have 24 minutes showing mostly my footwork and the front wheels of my kart, rather than the actual racing action.
Recently swapped my snow-rated all-seasons out for rain-oriented summer tires in preparation for the winter autocross season.
Four inches of snow last night.
Time to crank up my search for a (third) set of OE sized wheels.
Whoever at gm decided there line of 3.6 powered SUV's was a good idea must drink heavily. Everything about servicing them is miserable. From oil filter location too trans line access. Dont forget that lovely feature were they pump 1/2 qt of oil into the intake tract every oil change.
