why is the gov't involved in who is married, for tax reasons? It should not matter. I should not have to pay more or less taxes due to whether I believe in marriage or not.
you should make your money, invest, pay your taxes and deal with tax burdens as individuals.
Can start cutting the oversight and size of gov't right there.

Social engineering. Just one more reason to reduce governmental power whenever and wherever possible.
The family member I picked up a car for about a month ago has yet to contact the other family members who loaned them the money, was fired right after getting the car because they apparently stopped going to work (even though the whole reason behind the car was so it was easier to get to work in this bad weather), put the car up for sale, and took a roadtrip, rather than get another job, I guess. Yesterday, they texted me that the power steering went out, and to see if I had time, presumably to fix it or help them fix it.
The most mature thing I'm able to do right now is ignore them. If I respond, I'm pretty sure I won't have anything kind to say.

The only proper response is bitch slap across the mouth. Remember, your pimp hand is strong.
In reply to Appleseed :
That’d require getting anywhere near them. Right now, the fact that we are in the same town is too close for me. Not to mention this person is likely to learn nothing until they’ve burned everyone who might be willing to help them out.
I’m also temporarily out the money for the car, since I paid for it upfront. Fortunately, the family members who committed to loaning the money are going to pay me back regardless, and I trust them to do it, it’s just one more thing weighing on my mind right now.
I suspect the car will be a scrap pile before too long.
get too work and this cars waiting for me. Costumer just wants pads, as you can see it needs more then that. Customer isnt returning phone calls so its now blocking the lift.

A political rant? No something that is needed here.

Plus, not one but TWO "berk you" screws. Nice. At least they're torx, not Phillips.

Yup! My e46 has 2 each one the rear rotors. Had to drill out 3 out of the 4 last week.
Guy called back, he buys lifetime pads so he just wants those put on. Wheels back on and its outside. Hes taking it to a friend. Worst luck ive had with those screws is a mazda6. Drilled 7 out of 8. Yay rust belt
I have seen the term "Black Ice" used on this forum several times in the past week or two. There is no such thing as black ice. There is ice that you are aware of, and ice that you are not aware of. If it is on a paved road, ice always appears black. Pay attention.
To review, there are really only a few road conditions- Dry, Wet, Icy, Snow covered. All roads fall into one of those categories.
A set of seats that I have been looking for for over a year finally popped up for sale locally. I don't have the money to buy them right now
Watching Diners Drive in’s and Dives and they had a spaetzle maker. I googled it to find one and it says people who bought one also bought a steel casket.
Elky totalled. In er waiting for x rays.
Today did not go according to berkeleying plan.

Gonna have a hell of a fight with insurance on this one....
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
Glad you are okay! Bummer about the Elky. Did you have agreed value coverage on it?
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
That blow goats in all kinds of ways. Glad she didn't do even more damage to you. Have the xrays come back yet? Get a CT scan for the head impact? Wouldn't be surprised if you have some broken ribs and possibly a concussion.
Anything I can do let me know, you're not far from here. Rest up, you're gonna be real sore tomorrow.
In reply to EastCoastMojo :
Bunch of x rays ordered, as well as ct. Still waiting for it to happen. Bruised ribs, but none broken. Broken enough of them over the years to know that one.
Ill let you know if i need anything. Other than a new truck.
Javelin: full coverage with allstate. Not gonna end well.
Nothing broken. Minor concussion and bruised ribs. Now to get hpme
24 hours awake. Very E36 M3ty day
In reply to Dusterbd13 :
Damn dude, that sucks a lot. Try to get some rest this weekend. Pain meds are gonna be your friend for the next 48 hours.
for the next week I think. Bruised ribs are worse than broken. I can only hope you start to feel better soon and the concussion does not have lasting effects. The Elky issue can wait till later.
