Since it's going to rain tomorrow, I thought it would be a good idea to go out and get new wiper blades for the motorhome for the trip home after the race. In trying to take off the old blade, I snapped the wiper arm off completely. Derp.

Thanks Amazon. I ordered a clutch alignment tool a couple weeks ago and had been getting increasingly annoyed it hadn't arrived yet. Look today to discover that it hadn't shipped because it was waiting to be "bundled" with something more expensive. So ordered headphones for the daughter unit and now that I'm spending $50 they'll go ahead and ship me the berkeleying $6 tool I need to assemble my car!

Damn!
Just now catching up on this. Sorry to hear about the Elky, but glad you came out relatively unscathed.
Those older cars aren't known for being overly forgiving in a crash. Glad it wasn't anything big that the girl was driving.

Im glad i wasn't in the miata. That would have been ugly. Framerails took the brunt of the impact.
ordering parts to rebuild the brakes and suspension on my zephyr. car has an 8.8 out of an 88 mustang. I tossed the drums in a load of scrap because i have 2 sets that are in better shape or so i thought. bone headed move as the 8.8 uses 10x1 3/4 drums and both my parts cars were wagons with the 10x2 1/2 inch drums. so i hoarded parts for nothing and now need to buy new drums!
My dog all night:
“The neighbor shut their car door? I’ll bark! A car drove by? I’ll bark at that too! Oh what’s that? The wind is blowing? I should probably bark at that too!!!”
And so on...
Now I’m tired and unlike Ms. Fuzzyface McBarkypants I don’t get to sleep all day.
Berk that! You wake his ass UP. A well timed juggle every 10 min. Oh, you want to sleep? Woo-woo-WOOOO. No, you aint. Make him tired enough that a bomb won't wake him tonight.
This method also works with children.

So sorry to hear about the Elky man, glad you're mostly alright at least. Texting drivers suck big ass, I'm pretty positive at least one of my two 100% not at fault accidents in the past four years was the result of the guy never looking up from his phone until his Tacoma was parked in my trunk.
My county has really gone to hell lately, not that it wasn't in the gutter already.
Few days ago the local HS was locked down over threats to shoot the place up from a 14 y/o student. Cops found over six guns in his BR. He was a mountain kid but WTF. Overreaction, I dunno, they ain't taking chances anymore.
Another local HS is closed tomorrow over threats.
Overnight, five killed and one wounded in one shooting. WTF.
Shots fired in town almost every night, so much so it doesn't make the paper anymore.
E36 M3 is crazy anymore.
They call my county FayetteNam.
Took my dog for a walk today after I got home from work. She's a greyhound, a skinny little old lady at almost 14.
We went just under a mile, and for the last few blocks, I was trying to call my son to come pick us up with the truck. We had to stop for a break every house, and I was about to start carrying her.
She used to run 5k's with my daughter and I, then go tearing around the back yard when we got home.
Getting old sucks
I’ve been careful about what I eat to keep my heartburn in check and haven’t needed any meds for over a year. Today we tried a new pizzeria that opened in town, had one slice and it was very good. Then they pulled a batch of garlic knots out of the oven that smelled, looked, and were delicious. I’ve been paying the price all afternoon.

Been that way since the 50's that I know of. Always been some rough areas in Fayette County.
I told you yesterday to just cut the nut to get it off. "No no no that won't work"
And what did you to? You fixed it so now, after 2 days, $150 in parts and tools, and 50 miles of driving around finding parts and tools, I now need to go buy a whole shift arm and get into the transmission. When we could have cut the nut, replaced it with another nut, and been done.
And also, berkeley you Ford. How can you use a piece for over 40 years and god knows how many model lines, and NOT have replacements available ANYWHERE? I almost feel like Dorman deserves a berkeley you as well for making OEM replacement parts with NON OE materials.
On Saturday it was warm enough to have the sunroof open. This evening we're expecting 15-20cm of snow. Can the weather please make up its damn mind?
Kid sick so stayed home to take him to the doctor today. He requested eggs and sausage. Looked for my small and medium frying pans. Not in the drawer under the stove. Not in the dishwasher. Not in the sink. Not in the cabinets. Not in the pantry. Texted wife. She doesn't know where they are.
Where the berkeley are my pans!?

This is particularly vexing for we Miata drivers...
Kinda tired of olympians biting gold medals. It used to be how miners determined if their gold was real. How it became a pose on the medal stand is beyond me. Grocery cart thoughts.
Still cant get an actual answer about rear springs for my zephyr wagon from the internet. Called a company that sells foxbody coil spring sets too ask them. There best answer is they arent sure. Going to try calling lmr before saying screw it and just building it to drag race!

Oh, you live in or near uniontown? I didn't know there were that many local grmers. I live in New Alex.
The E36 got to be pretty cheap, right? I remember really liking the M3 lightweight when my job included pushing shopping carts - let's see what they're going for now.
Oh.
That's basically never going to happen then.
Apparently one of my major problems with people, in general, is that I cannot stop myself from assuming that everyone I interact with has the same proper sense of propriety as I have. And I am constantly getting bit in the azz by it.
