That's great news. Congratulations!

Going from "we don't know if he will make it" to " hell he doesn't need to even be in here" in 48 hours is quite the turnaround
Best news I've read in weeks! Hoping for continued progress for your Dad.
I made eggs for lunch today and one of them had 2 yolks. I only paid for one.
Celebrate the small wins.
I had my annual review today, and for the second year in a row I got "Distinctive Impact" which is an exceeds expectations result. This happened during a fairly larger merger that had everything set to happen at full throttle with zero time for mistakes, that kind of thing. The bad news is that raises were capped earlier this year, so it's a set rate kind of thing, but it's also better than nothing.
However, was mentioned that this kind of performance may merit a move up to the next salary/responsibility band once promotions open back up later in the year. I'd *love* a promotion. I may have to nail down a few more professional certifications to shore up that potential move.

Congratulations, that's great! Good luck with the next step.
This week I made a FaceSpace group just so I can E36 M3post terrible cars for sale. I'm having way too much fun with it already.
Today I bought tickets to take my 13 year old nieces to their first pop-punk show. Their mom is taking them to their first Metallica show this summer.
Car cleaned out. Workweek finished. Tickets purchased, hotel booked.
Tomorrow we hit the road south. Mousebound. And the forecast says 60f. Life could be worse.
I had to work this AM for 4 hours. It is straight up E36 M3ting snow out since 1AM I made it home thanks to my Toyota Tankoma. berkeleying thing rocks on unplowed roads.

You're a good Uncle.
Cat was acting weird so I look and see a half a turd on a hair hanging out it's butt. I got a paper towel and pulled it off. How is this a win and not a rant? I got it before he ate it and barfed it back up or rubbed it on my couch. Perspective I guess...

I saw him today and we are still seeing continuing progress. I'm meeting with his "care team" next week to outline what level of rehab/rehabilitation he needs to get back to normal life
