Nothing serious. I've got a big brick patio, and a section is in the shade most of the day. It gets some ice-slick mold growth that pops up pretty quickly - I power washed it off last season to great effect, but it was back in about 2 months.
Any recommendations for fun chemicals I can spray on the bricks to keep the mold at bay?
Bonus round: I'm also doing a lot of planting around the patio, so I need to be conscious of the runoff not killing what I'm planting.
Last summer I was working for a carpet cleaning place and we had this stuff for doing cleanups after flooding, I think it was called Micro-Ban or some such. It kills pretty much everything and surprisingly doesn't smell bad either. I have no idea where you could find it for sale to the general public though. It also cost around $60/gal. Did you try bleach?
I know for mildew and moss on roofs, one method of prevention is to install strips of copper or copper wire along the ridge - rain water washes small amounts of copper sulfate down across the shingles, which kills the growing stuff. Zinc works in a similar fashion. I wonder if you could lay some copper wire along the edge of the patio to accomplish the same thing.
Oxy Clean works real well on cleaning a wood deck when applied through a light powerwasher. Not sure how it would work on brick - my guess is very well. I am not sue how it will interact with plantlife but it does not seem that harmful.
Bleach doesn't kill mold, it only removes the stains left by it. White vinegar will kill it and prevent it from returning, and shouldn't harm your plants.

vinegar is a great herbicide.. I wouldn't use it anywhere near plants you like.
