I have a NAS server that when I create folders on it with my PC other people can not then add files to, edit, or change files that are in that folder.  They can however delete the folder and all files in it.

The fix seems to be to get properties on the folder then security. In the "group or users" list I click on the admin for the NAS server and edit the property on the Admin user of the Naze server setting it to full control.

This is only a problem with folders I create with my PC on the server.  All the other computers on the network don't have this is the issue and play nice with each other.

Does anyone have any ideas?  I am sure it is just a security setting or something simple that I have to change on my PC.  This all started after a recent windows update about a week ago.  :-(

And issue is solved by another windows update.  One that adds features to windows but not supposed to be a critical update. Weird but I will take it.

They do that all the time. I go around fighting all day over Windows Update breaking things, sometimes by itself.
