On our powerwheels, I put strips of bicycle tire tread on the rear for grip, works great. As far as stripping gears, even with the extra grip and the Turbo(18V button) everything is still holding together.
Awesome...everytime I see a powerwheels jeep I think of this though.

Ahaha, the Harley is awesome! I think it even pulled the front wheel on launch! The Harley has the best gearboxes by the way. If you find one junked grab it and scrounge the drivetrain.
