I can't go more than a week... Itches like crazy...
I don't think my nursing clinical instructors would take too kindly to me having a full on beard..... Don't want to freak out granny with Alzheimer's....
I haven't shaved for a month now, I plan to shave on my birthday in march unless it looks epic. Or the boss makes me.

Naaaaahhh, she wouldn't remember it anyway...
I already had a head start with a full beard by the end of October. I shaved for my Halloween costume. I shan't be shaving again until May!

Already had a Van Dyke and minor sideburns, so I'm just filling in the rest. I think my motivation has something to do with the beardy PNW metal I've been listening to lately. You guys will like this (if not for the music then for the Chevy wagon and gratuitous destruction): Red Fang - WiresOk, the metal wasn't my style, but the video was great!
Yeah, that's a rad video. Sad that you don't like stoner metal, though, toyman.
Beards are THE official rock and roll accessory these days--especially in the indie crowd (Fleet Foxes might do it best).
That said--I'm begrudgingly in for the moustache this year. My college friends all get together annually the week before Thanksgiving. This year, it's the "Moustachio Bashio". All men need to show sporting a moustache. I suggested to the hostess that if I had to do that, then the women should sport distracting cleavage. She's working on getting that to happen.
Anyway, my goal is to end up with a Dark Side of the Moon-era Nick Mason moustache.
My beard is really sad/spotty, so we'll see how that goes. At 39, it's my first experience w/ facial hair. Not too thrilled about it so far (started growing it a week ago).

since 1969... first Med cruse on the USS Columbus CG 12 ... the navy allowed us to keep them when we returned and with the exception of a 6mo period in '81 I've had a beard ever since
Every guy should do Movember, just the 'stache! Go to www.Movember.com to see why, it's a fundraising thing for mens cancers and health awareness! Plus, its a legit excuse to grow a dirty 'stache and wear it with pride!! Too many people do the beard thing anyways...
well i have been doing this beard thing all year and i love it. have not shaved in eons. Got it pretty full actually and i enjoy the look.
To be honest i trim it but thats just to keep it neat.
Ill hop on no shave november again this year

Before pics or it doesn't count.
(I guess I can't ever run for president now.)
And on the topic of MENS FACIAL HAIR- I have had a goatee- mustache for 20+ years. Head plain brown, 'stach and goatee totally gray. I kinda like it, distinguished looking, ya know? Kinda like Tom Sellecks ugly older brother.

Yeah, I just gave myself a slap upside the head.
Keeping my beard for over 6 years now. Aside from when I shaved it for a job interview in '08, and then again for the summer in '09. And I have trimmed it down to a goatee the past 2 summers.
I keep it neatly trimmed, I shave my neck line(that's the only part that itches), "soul patch"(it grows in very lightly, not worth keeping) and some times the upper half of my cheeks.
Full shaving REALLY irritates my skin, and I am absolutely baby faced.
I started early... this year... mostly because i'm to lazy to shave... haven't shaved my 'stache since HS and goat since a year or so after... quit a job over them changing the chin hair rule... for the hair... growing it out for locks of love... will be my 3rd donation... been doing that since my mom died of cancer 7 years back with short bouts of short hair for jobs :)
can't see so well in this pic but my chops grow into that awesome perfect redneck point... or did... and my goat still is pretty thinish... this was from '03ish?...
want to say this was a little before the last pic... as full as I could grow it...
