Whenever the prison north of Houston in Huntsville has an escape you can hear the sound of rednecks all over rural southeast Texas locking and loading. I guess an escapee is basically fair game for anyone to shoot and there are plenty of people looking for the legal experience. Most don't get far and give themselves up after a few uncomfortable nights in the woods. I think the last one drowned before they found him.
Well it appears they caught one of the escapes weasels and shot him down. Good for the officer who pulled the trigger, saves us the cost/time/effort of re sentencing and we don't have to listen to the prisoners' tell-all story.
Looks like # 2 will be taken in or dead by the morning.
