Boy woke up with a sore throat and cough. Good thing Grampa remembers how that works. Mom is on call all weekend, so we watch TV and sip orange juice for a couple of days.

In reply to Pete. (l33t FS) :
Decent gas mileage, too many miles, and it's hot out.
What's the other message?
In reply to Streetwiseguy :
That hot at 10pm at night, a few blocks from the lake. ("What's on the other side of the lake?" "Ontario.") At least it isn't buggy. A friend lives roughly halfway between you and me, on a straight line course, and apparently they have like 10 times the mosquitoes that they normally do.
Mileage is atrocious, I normally see quite a bit better than that, closer to 26 in mixed driving. The A/C is always on and the cooling fan is always in hovercraft mode. The price of decadence.
Ignore the status warning, I have been for the last six months. Dead SUM, I think the right side ride height sensor took out the 5vref shared by everything but the left ride height sensor. Unplugging the accelerometers and the bulkhead connector under the rear seat doesn't bring it up. Sometimes it put out 5v for a couple seconds on a key cycle. Fried power transistor. I tied the two 5vref circuits together and I have all the sensors back online except the right rear. Voltage output is close to zero.
I miss having headlights that aren't pointed straight down...

Dunno if it's the wheels or wider fender flares or what but this is one of the best looking examples of the FR Porsches.

Floor in, seam sealed, uncoated, painted. Carpet and interior installed, as well as front wheel seals, wheel bearings, and a trans mount. Genuinely nicer than it's ever been, just in time to sell it. 🙂
Ready for the next thing.
4am text from my work leader. Said he was going to be late and sent me a pic of why:
2021 Forester with 51k on it. It burned to a puddle. Tires blew wheels melted etc...
Dropped the La Salle wheels and new tires off to be mounted. Shop was closed last week because everyone went to the Burnout Nationals in Illinois.

I am glad that Chrysler told us that the cold to hot scale was in Fahrenheit. It could be confusing otherwise!
