I think the title should be "Red Green - How come SVrex hasn't heard of this guy when everyone else on this forum has?"

I thought that show was shown everywhere on PBS...in Minnesota it's always been on, several times a week.
Ida thunk every guy followed Red but maybe a few slipped through the cracks. Do yurself a favor n catch up on the best of vids and friend on FB. He does city tours too.
You guys may enjoy Stuart Maclean, too.
His stories are priceless. Not GRM like Red, but fun nonetheless.
Definitely one of the best shows out there. Used to watch it all the time, but haven't seen it in a while. This close to the border I can usually get it over aerial.
I think Red is "the most interesting man in the world." Not that other bearded guy selling Dos Equis.

agreed. Of course, I think M.A.S.H. was a Catch 22 wannabe
I've been watching this for a very long time. People with cable probably don't see it as much as us non-cable viewers.

This. I love that show.
I have a DVD called We Can't Help It- We're Men and it also has an hour long extra called Red Green's Of Cars and Men.

Truth be told, I think that's the first episode I ever saw. I had just lost the cable..and discovered that without it, the TV had two settings. Public TV, and "off". Must be dang near 10yrs ago now..

Or perhaps, "How come nobody ever shares the good stuff with SVreX?"
A highly detailed model of The Possum Van:

Quando Omni Flunkus Moritati` (When all else fails, play dead)
they had the best oil change how-to on that show.. he pulled the drain plug and a single drop of oil came out.. he put the plug back in and poured the oil back in..
One of the best times the family and I ever had...went to Toronto and watched a taping of the show. Instead of a comic to warm up the crowd, they played a loop of "Adventures with Bill". By the time they were ready to start the show, everyone in the audience had almost peed their pants! At the conclusion of the show, I was one of the guys chosen to be at the lodge meeting. My fat head and big backside made it onto the TV show. I have a VHS of the show somewhere. Too bad the networks in the U.S. never picked up the show.

Most people who watch PBS on Friday or Saturday nights knows about Red Green.

Yup!
And Red Green has been posted on this forum before.
"This is a temporary fix, unless it works of course."
Anyone who has lived in the midwest or enjoy understated humour without a laugh track, should also watch another great Candian hold out, Corner Gas
