McDonald's has filed suit alleging Big Beef has been colluding by putting their collective thumb on the scales by price-fixing.
This is the kind of conspiracy theory that I've believed occurs across many industries since I read about Marshmallow Fluff companies settling with the FTC in the early 2000's for sticking it to us (totally not an admission of guilt😉). While I can't find reference to that case online, I'm pretty sure I'm not making it.
