OK, it was a Peg Perego version, but still. It was at the curb with a "free" sign on it so I snagged it. One $13 motor later, and it is running great! I have a 4 year old son who is pretty darned excited about it!
Now add 2 12V UPS batteries ;)

I have a project thread here on the exact vehicle.
We did a push to pass button on the steering wheel to kick it up to 24 volts. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! With plastic gears you don't want the throttle to hit a full 24v instantly.Better to start at 12v then push button up to 24v.

Sorry, not smart enough to embed. What i can tell you is....if your gator takes a 540 can motor, and you want to go really berkeleying fast....source a cheap vxl esc and radio. Ill send you thr spare motor i have from when i went mamba powered in all my trucks. 11.1v of lipo power.....

Any fool can ride a piece of plastic down a hill. Takes a real genius to triple the power and strap their kid to it.
That looks awfully nice for free! Nicer than the one my kids got free from the neighbors. We put new wheels on the front and wore those out too. (I think it needed an alignment).
