No camping. Friend of mine has a small cinder block hut out at the lake. Basically one big room that's living/kitchen/dining combined, two bedrooms and a bathroom.
Once in the water, remove life jacket and flip 180°, place legs through the former arm holes. Now float perfectly with just shoulders and higher out of the water as you yell to the wife to throw you and guys more beer from the dock.
Zippo lighter
fire starter sticks (starting a campfire in the rain is tough)
canned meat
standard drugs - aleve, tums, neosporin
the other guys have most of it covered.
I am also preparing to camp... and whilst airing out the tent I realized that a 22' race car trailer with cots, generator, wiring, lighting and somewhat rigid structure will be way more comfortable for 3 people more interested in mountain biking and swimming that domesticating the woods... Easier to "put up" too. It just might be a little more difficult to maneuver but I'll be testing that.
mouthwash and go crazy get new tooth brush , case of water freeze a six pack of them for cooler chillers , your kookiest hat

Good idea, but it might get hot in there.

Get screen to cover the doors.
I believe you can also get small fans that mount in the roof vent, if your trailer has one.

Have generator, add small AC unit. Be handy on track days too.
I think ill just roll out a futon mattress on the floor of the van this weekend. Strap a tarp to the roof rack and tie it to some trees so we can leave windows open if it rains.
No setting up or taking down a tent = win.
If it is dry I stretch out under my F-100. For some reason it really seems to bother people in campgrounds.

I have a big honkin' fan and netting for the doors - I did not make the leap to AC yet... but I do have a microwave and a coffee maker in there.

After all this discussion, you MUST take many pictures and tell us the entire story. I have the feeling it will be epic. In a good way. But have fun!!
I Love camping.. IMO though the less stuff the better... I have one of the cheep hammocks to string b/t a couple trees.. a bivi sack to crash in the hammock... and heck what else do you need... :) A leatherman... Some beef jerky...
When really 'camping' I never have more than can be carried on my back... and I plan on getting a long ways away from everyone...
but most of the time.. It is the wife, kids, ect ect ect... SO I have a 23ft class C.. With everything.. packed... Frisbee and a some cards.. some board games if the weather gets bad... football... Bikes... typical stuff... Folding chairs... All the damn nonsense.. but it packs neatly in the RV..
Without the RV.. we go as light as possible.. It is less work and more fun that way... Some bags.. a tent setup to use only if the weather gets bad...
The saving grace to the RV.. for me at least.. Is every time I get in that thing to go... This thing is always nearby... This is a must have for most of my summer weekends... (we are 'camping' just about every weekend, and if I had a choice I would be living in the RV at the lake all summer :) )

My last camping trip involved fireworks exploding in hands, nearly dieing of hypothermia after passing out in a chair near the campfire when it started to pour 0*C rain, and then having to take a 60km/h run with my two buddies in the back of a 2wd ranger to get up a 20% hill grade with a whoops section at the beginning of it.
I don't know if it was epic or retarded, but now I know that I DO all of the planning instead of them.
If SHE has never been camping before, a reservation to the nearest quality hotel. x10 if chance of more than "minor chance of rain shower."
One of the best camp showers that actually work is at Stone Mtn Ga park /// Rv campground I swear the water tower was on top of the rock and gives such a great water pressure as to wash all your troubles away
Bring something to remove ticks and check yourself for them every day.
Let me say that again in a way that might get your attention a bit more:
You don't want a tick stuck between your toes or on your nuts drinking your blood and giving you Lyme disease. Bring something to get them safely off of your body.
Bring a spare pair of shoes that are already broken in.
Bring ace bandages.
Bring a radio that can get the weather band on it.
550 cord. Not the crappy stuff you can find at Dicks, go get the real stuff. It's indispensable.
Above post >>>>>>>>>>>>> spray legs by shoes , spray belly area , spray neck , spray hat . Do not sleep with clothes after use put in garbage bag , sleep in underwear . If you have a partner enjoy the checking of ticks on each other . << great way to meet someone also >>> throw all clothes in hot dryer before washing 20 mins on high !!! tweezers >>>dig deep pull ticks out . venomous ticks link

Keystone Light.
Thats it, really.
Well, I was going to criticize you until I realized that you included beer bong. Which is the only possible way to choke down Keystone (and I drink Busch Light, PBR, Bud, MGD... I am FAR from a beer snob)

Other than, Tent, sleeping bag, food and clothes, what are some little things that you guys take out to keep entertained and/or more comfortable?
I will not lie, whenever I go camping I take my American Express card and a reservation at the Marriott. Really I despise camping more than having my brain eaten by zombies.

When I was a kid my dad used to burn them with a lit cigarette.
For the record - the big ones you can actually see don't carry lyme disease. Its those tiny deer ticks that do. They are smaller than a pencil point tip - you have to look really hard and if they are in your hairline or azz crack... you won't find them until they feed a while.
