I love FB Marketplace. I can't post from there right now because I'm at work, but I got new cabinets for my house for $50, a beautiful pedastal sink for my bathroom for $50, a 2001 740i black/black with Msports for $750, you name it and it's on there and cheap. Selling things I haven't had much luck on FB marketplace, as no one wants to spend any money. But for buying it's awesome.
$700 Disco - maybe scam?
Not sure where these are valued
In reply to No Time :
Allegedly, their value has inexplicably skyrocketed recently.
Some say it's a result of this thread.

Aw cummon. It's fairly convincing.
Except that for whatever time and effort and expense they went through to make that, it's still not a Viper and they could have just bought an actual 1st-gen Viper. They're just not that expensive.
9 times out of 10 with projects like this - like grafting a BMW nose onto a Civic (which I've actually seen) or something - you could have had the real thing for less money and less work. Idungeddit.
I don't know why I want that bright yellow Dirge Vorper, but I do. There's just something so delightful about how much potential it has to instill irrational anger in people.
There's a JDM engine seller locally with a full skyline RB25 swap... now THAT would really push the sacrilidge-ometer into the red.
NHRA certified 8.50 roll cage , if you happen to need one....

Edit: I got the rough dimensions from the seller.....51.5" wide at the main hoop floor and at the front down tubes......about 43" from main hoop to down tubes.....46" tall at the main hoop. Getting it inside your car is your problem.
I never shared the greatest FB Marketplace listing score of all-time. The story has been shared, but never the proof of the pudding.
Holy E36 M3, that's really cool. Build thread you think? Steadily assimilate the prior owner into GRM like The Thing?

Sub 10K Maserati anyone?

The clutch job that these need apparently every 15k is probably going to be more expensive than the car itself.
Pretty rough, but what do you expect from an $1800 Chevelle?
Last time I saw a Chevelle in any shape under $2K, I was in high school.

Really? That's my jam. My first car was a '71 Malibu coupe. I sold it 15 years later, for good reasons. I still hate that I sold it, but it was the right thing to do.
Something like that is $1800? Wow.
In reply to Shadeux :
In Michigan, that thing is considered a "solid, 95% rust free project car". You "southern folk" are spoiled!
In reply to kazoospec :
Nothing is stopping you from running the interstates to rape and plunder prime southern vehicles...
