Crap I bought them a few weeks ago at $75. They only had a couple left though. Maybe I should go back.
Might have some, or at least be able to do a return rebuy.
At $12.50 a piece for their best battery, I'm quite happy with going the Ryobi route. Took the drill to the JY this weekend (regular drill, not impact driver) and used it to remove a few parts including a fender on a 1977 Celica, I should have gotten power tools sooner!

I've got the Ryobi ecosystem as well. I'm satisfied with it. Just keep in mind that corded power tools will always outperform a battery powered tool.
Which is why I've been going back to corded tools with recoiling drop cords on the ceiling.

I already saw this, but thanks. I'm going to try and buy them and register for the warranty.

I hear you, but a cordless drill is just too, too handy sometimes.
I didn't read the whole thread, but thought I'd throw my $.02 in anyway. I got a new Black and Decker 20v Li drill a year or two ago, and I have nothing bad to say about it. It's strong, light, and the battery seems to last forever. When it does finally die, it's kind of slow to charge, but it's not terrible. BTW, I've seen the same drill re-branded as Craftsman and Porter Cable, and there's probably others in the same tool family.
