I'm going to be visiting Sacramento at the end of the month for some bidness. What are some good evening activities ie breweries etc.
My favorite pub type place is "The Shack". Good food and beer selection, although the beer focuses a bit more Belgian than local. Rubicon is a very good local brewery.
Go eat at Chando's Tacos. Tiny little stand in an almost-sketchy area. Best tacos in Sacramento. For sushi, go to Mikuni. For burgers, go to Flaming Grill (kangaroo burger is my favorite).
For Mexican food, El Novillero. I like Rubicon too, though there are some who prefer New Helvetia. I know the guys at Rubicon, so am perhaps a bit biased. The Squeeze Inn does a good burger, but I think they are not quite as good as they were before they got chased out of the place that was the size of a broom closet by the ADA shakedown artist.
