In reply to 06HHR (Forum Supporter) :
The newer ones got the 6 speed.
The "Neon" engine has nada to do with Hyundai or Mitsubishi. It has closer roots to the Slant Six.

And now you have passed on that learning.
Now picture, if you will. A duck catching a mouse. I am sure it can happen, but it sounds absurd.
In reply to Noddaz :
Ducks are actually kinda shiny happy people. Also, mice eat eggs, and they have a strong inclination to protect their eggs...
TIL that 'Taser' is an acronym because the inventor got the idea from a book called "Tom Swift and his Electric Rifle", standing for 'Thomas A. Smith's Electric Rifle'.
In reply to wae :
That's cool. I knew chickens would catch mice and kill them, but didn't think it was something a duck would do
TIL that I only put 2400 miles on the Miata last year. I'm kind of ashamed that I drove it that little.
In reply to NickD :
I've owned the Manic Miata for about 12 years and I've probably put less than 15,000 miles on it.
It's OK.
In reply to Duke :
Yeah, I've owned mine 8 years and put almost 50k miles on it. I actually put 1000 more miles on it in 2020 when everything was closed, but even that was a drop from the 6-8k a year before that. The problem is, after the whole TN transmission explosion I got really gun-shy about taking it long distances, and then the Yaris is just too darn good at being a car.
Edit: Also, Tennessee Transmission Explosion is totally going to be the name of my country metal band

Craigslist. Duh?

I put just shy of double that on my daily every year...
Clearly, I need to drive more or something...
TIL that an early aero Crown Vic with nice duel exhaust and some chrome wheels and RWL tires pulling into the gas station I am filling up at, will invoke "I want that" feelings.
TIL to not roll into Houston at 10pm on a Sunday for work and take the Nissan Versa as the rental car to save money.
In my defense Monday was the first day of my new job.
Also I learned that big truck squat thing is alive and happening and big ass trucks like to get really close to Nissan Versa bumpers.

I put almost double that on my Volvo every month.

Doing the math, I could buy a Model 3 Performance and almost break even. But I tell myself, for less money I could just drive an RX-7 that gets similar economy but is happy on 87.

Dang. Also, your meme didn't show up, but I feel for you. The F1Shifty runs on 85... good ol' 8 cylinder low-ish compression lump.
