I think maybe someone left a penny on the track.
I used to love putting pennies on the track....
I can beleive it was a tornado.. right before the car goes over, the wind REALLY picks up.

I kept waiting for the BOOM from the tanker car...
It's on youtube as well. I think it's mentioned over there that is footage from a tornado vs train encounter.

Inertia works both ways... speeding up a train takes FOREVER,, same as it does to slow it down

It's a tornado that the train catches...
look at the foliage in the trees.
initially the leaves are gone, i.e, tornado/high winds already been there then he catches up to it and over she goes.
See how the tank car shell wiggles like it's made of paper?
Out trail riding several years ago, some buds and I came across the partially cleared site of a derailment. It's mind boggling the amount of destruction that is done.
There was a big derailment in defiance Ohio last year, it took weeks to open the track and there are still pieces of the bogeys laying around the area

That's what I did look at. I've cleaned up after a number of tornado touch downs. There is nothing in that video that looks like a tornado. The trees are not twisted, nothing is ripped up, nothing torn out. Just a rail car blown over. Looks like thunderstorm wind to me. Thunderstorm wind can be darn strong and most certainly can knock a train over.
My uncle used to work for a company that specialised in cleaning up after derailments. When the engines go over, you cannot just pick them up and put them back on the tracks. You have to build tracks under them and pull them back onto the main track.
That's a LOT of weight

Microburst?
They are often confused as Tornados. Circular patterns - Tornado, strait blowovers - Microburst
Microbursts can have the same or higher wind speeds as tornadoes. If a twister can do it a microburst can too.
