Sounds like you may need something aluminum.

I have found the Corbeau FX1 Pro to be fat guy friendly.  Even in normal width.  Its available in a wide but it likely wouldnt fit in your car.

The answer is OMP TRS-E XL - largest FIA-rated seat out there for under $1K.

I have one bolted into a Honda Civic. I'm 6'4", about 330 and I have a 46" waist.

Is this going to be a street car or a race only car? I'm your size and I have a 17" kirkey in my track Miata. It took a little bit of massaging of the trans tunnel with a sledge hammer, but it fit. With the padding it is decently comfortable. I wouldn't want to drive 2 hours in it, but 20 minute sessions or 30-45 minutes to the track are not too bad.

I'll second the Kirkey. I use a 17" seat in the Abomination and I'm 6'2" and 285+.

I had one of those corbeau wide seats in the pass side of my old Rabbit, about anyone could fit.

Yep!  I'm 5'-10", 275, and a 44" waist.  I'm also fairly broad shouldered, though I carry more weight in front than I do in the hips and butt.  The FX1 Pros are very comfortable for me, and fit in the Miata.
