Gustav Holst- The Planets
This is one I haven't listened to in a long time.
Wrapping up a weekend of baby sitting the granddaughters while son and DIL are away in Cinci at his company's Christmas party. At the moment I'm listening to the eight-year-old irritate her cat with cat fight sounds on YouTube at full volume. I can think of a few other things I'd rather be listening to. Perhaps later this evening.
Ok. So we're back at home from TCI's and babysitting immediately afterwards. Cocktails and dinner at our local place Bill's. Now at home listening to music and relaxing after a weekend of baby sitting.

Dang, he hasn't toured in 2 years. Gotta do it next time he tours. Missed the last Rush tour and there probably won't ever be another.
He's doing a US tour this coming year. He'll be at Foxwoods in August. (New album). Son Jason and I will be there. Here's your chance. Hope to see you!
Ya know, here's why I love this thread: (Actually, I love this entire forum. Best on the internet. But, I digress...) I was talking to a friend at "Bill's," our local pub, about heavy metal, and a particular video version of AC/DC's Thunderstruck. Brian Johnson, to be specific. I had posted it here a couple years ago so I did some research. I found it, but It turns out that that version is no longer available on YT. OK. But in my research I found a treasure-trove of great music here. I love this thread! Anyway, I found a Sergio Franchi song I posted here a few years ago, and thoroughly enjoyed it tonight.
Sergio was also a major car-guy and had a great collection. He lived out his final years in Stonington, CT before giving up to the Big C. The family still has an annual opera concert in his honor at his former home every August. His great car collection was auctioned off a few years ago.
And, BTW, I don't want to imply that I like only the music I've posted here. On the contrary, there is a great collection of what I'd call "our music." So if you have time, go back in time on this thread, and enjoy the music that's been posted here.

I'm surprised that nobody has pointed out the Miata on the album cover!

And an SN95 too! They’re just missing a P71.
Thad Fiscella - Beauty of Grace
So here it is at 1:15 am on December 23. We had a "gathering" at our house tonight for friends and family. Combined Christmas and my actual 70th B-day, the 22nd. Everybody has left. I'm enjoying the lingering fireplace fire, sipping some Bota box wine ... not bad actually. Annie is asleep. I'm listening to some good relaxing music.
