What do your parents drive?

My parents drive a Camry and a Ranger. However they might get a MINI Clubman.

They finally listened to me and bought- Mom- Scion Xb Dad-Toyota Tacoma PreRunner Step mom/dad- Mazda 3

My fathers last car (bought 2 years before he died:

It had the 390 engine with a 4 speed. He added some things to it. Like second 4-barrel carb, a hot cam, headers and an exhaust system. Those plus all the Shelby suspension parts made it a beast to drive.

When he died, my 65yo mother who had never had a drivers license learned to drive using it. Once she had her license she sold it and got a Chevy Citation because she couldn't afford to put gas in the Mustang and my younger brother convinced her that the Mustang wasn't a proper "older ladies" car.

Mom, 70 drives a 1991 BRG Miata, 5 spd

Dad, 78 drives a lowered 01 GS430

Of course they also have an Odyssey for when the grandkids come to town...

My folks are in their mid 70s

Mom drives a 08 Civic sedan

Dear old dad drives a 62 Vette (red on red), "sunburst" 92 Miata he bought new, and a Factory Five C*bra kit he first put on the road in 2004 after a two-year build. He tries to drive them all equally to the tune of 3000 or so miles a year. He also has a 07 Cobalt stripper coupe for winter duty since they live in Massachusetts.

Dad just bought a basket case Sunbeam Tiger for a restoration project, but we're still trying to figure out how to get it from where it sits now to his place.

My parents share a '02 or '03 Taurus (with the Vulcan engine, no less), their 3 or 4th. My father recently sold his "play" truck, a '98 Ranger 4X4 regular cab. My Mom no longer is able to drive, due to macular degeneration in 1 eye, and my 90 year old Dad probably won't be buying another vehicle.

My father learned to "drive" on a horse-drawn milk wagon.

Mom is almost 50, and drives the doors off her 02' Buick Regal. It does 80mph easy and never lets anyone pass. Beige is good for avoiding cops too.

Dad is just past 50 and drives an 07' Frontier usually with the radio off. He must like talking to himself or something. When it is put together he rides his 77' RD400. Ubermodified.

Mom - DD Audi 1.8T A4, Summer 1991 Miata

Dad - DD Audi 2.7T A6, and a full sized F150. Summer car is the 1966 Mustang 289 we restored, and he is currently working on a 1941 Mercury for a fun driver.

My Dad was fond of driving whatever he could afford, all through life. From castoff Packards and Fords in the 40's to a Mustang II, two 70 Pontiac Bonneville's and a Saturn before he died in 2004. I get my love of cars from him. "Whatever works" was his motto.

Mom? Mom wasn't much of a car person. Grandpa was, but then he died when I was seven. She had a Chevy (Olds?) Police Interceptor as a car when I was born. Dad always said her father bought too much car for my Mom. She quit driving when I got my license, for the most part. That or I was too eager to drive.

My Dad (75 years old) lives alone and has:

1999 Mercury Grand Marquis for DD.

2005 Lincoln Town Car for nice weather only.

Dad drives either a Sunbeam Tiger, an Edsel Wagon, or an E30 M3. Mom either drives an E28 or a Corvair turbo monza spyder.

Dad's passed away (his last was an Impreze) Mom has a '05 Neon

My mom(81yo) is a "snowbird": 2008 Toyota Camry in Melbourne Fla and 2006 Toyota Solara in Lenoir City Tn

My mother in law(82yo) has 2002 Toyota Camry.

My mom has a 2010 Odyssey, dad abuses the crap out of his 2007 Ridgeline. They've been a Honda family since they bought an old, beat to crap 88 Accord.

I dunno Tommy I see that Ridgeline around town a whole lot more than the Tiger.

My parents share an 04 Maxima now. Both used to have cool stuff then fell into Buicks and an MPV.

Dad - Manx, Cortina, RX-4. Still has a 68 BSA 650 Thunderbolt Mom - Cougar, Malibu

Past cars my dad has owned: '98 Mazda MPV, '96-ish Ford Taurus wagon, '94 Mercury Topaz, '93-ish Dodge Grand Caravan, 80-something Mazda 323, Chevy Vega.

Yeah, my parents are not car-people.

Dad drives a full-sized GM passenger van. Has for years, will until his death. Cares about ability to haul stuff and get from point A to point B. (In his defense, his first car was a Corvair Monza Spider)

Mom drives a base CR-V because it is a reliable and practical appliance of a vehicle. She is that lady doing 50 in the left lane on the highway. (in her defense, she drove me everywhere before I was 16 without complaint.)

My pop's driving my old '98 GMC 1500. I want it back.

My parents average slightly above 60 years old, and have a '65 mustang GT, '01 mustang Bullitt, MKIII supra turbo (mom's car), VW Phaeton (V8), E350 box truck (V10), and a Ford Flex ecoboost. My dad's motto is V8 or bigger, 6 is acceptable if turbocharged.

my mom drives a '08 Jeep Liberty (last of the stickshift Libertys, at that), my dad drove a '98 Dakota Sport 2wd before he passed and my stepdad drives a Kenworth w/ sleeper cab and a 53' dry bulk trailer to make a living and my Miata track car when he's in town, I'd say I've got things pretty good

Mom bought herself a 4 barrel trans-am in the late 70s when she graduated college as a grad gift to herself. She was driving that when she and my father met. He was driving a Cherokee chief with a Dana rear and locking hubs. That was in 1977 when they met.
