Miatas don't really turn her head.
How about dinner, then a bottle of wine at the fire overlooking a lake? Nice rooms too.

That sounds like a rather self-serving gift
In reply to Joe Gearin:
I think what he's proposing really boils down to that, anyway. It's just a substantially nicer box.

Thats the first thing that came to mind when reading the thread title. Plus you can make it yourself for extra bonus points.
You guys are such romantics.
Hey, why not just get her a Gift Card, or lube her up with a bottle of red and let her have her way with me?
Ooo, oooh, POTS AND PANS !!!!
I gotta say, pots and pans are always good. Lead up to it by complaining about how awful the ones she has are. Then bring out the tah-dah! Or, the nice box is nice. Make sure you schedule at least one activity during that trip that doesn't involve the contents of the box, if you know what I mean.
My wife wants an Audi R8, and since she's a small town girl she says she'll be happy with the V8. I got her a coffee cup.

Holy cow, Katie. Your future husband is going to really enjoy Christmas with you. Just get one new kitchen thing a year. No romance needed.

Can't believe you didn't suggest an amy
I would have said get her a nice watch. But that's a bit pointless when the oven has a perfectly good clock....
But seriously, a gift cert for a day spa or something similar is usually a winner for a woman who has everything. She'll get to enjoy being pampered and you'll get a nice thank you. Everyone wins
One year I asked for and got a new trash can. You can't wear the same earrings every day, but that trash can is still serving us well. . I vote for the nice box and a night at the ballet/orchestra if she's into that.

At least she encouraging everyone to think outside the box.
