Dad replaced the old Merc on the boat with a newer 4 stroke Yamaha. With that we no longer have any 2 stroke engines--the two exceptions being my weedeater (4 hours away from the gasoline) and my FIL's boat engine, but that one mixes the oil on its own. So now we have about 10 gallons of premixed fuel that we don't have any use for. What should we do with it? I'd put it in the Miata at a gallon a fill up, but the Miata probably won't be in the vicinity to make that worth it.
Current gas engines up there are a 4 wheeler, snow thrower that doesn't get much use, two 4 stroke outboards, and... well, thats it.
I mix it in my van tank with 350 TBI and have never had an issue, Maybe about 1/4 ratio at the most.
No question, buy a dirtbike. You dont want quality gas like that to go to waste.

Or a big ol' truck. I dump old 2-stroke gas from my boat into the Big Dooley. At 9 mpg, it's gone pretty quickly. Truck doesn't seem to care.

Ha. I recall many years ago, my father drained a couple pans of old gas out of a tractor. These were old aluminum (I think) drain pans we usually used for oil changes. Not knowing what do do with this old stinky gas, he put the pans in the middle of the garden and tossed a match in each. I had never seen a metal pan burn down before... I don't think he was expecting them to melt so quickly and release their fiery liquid contents, but they were far from anything else flammable so we just let them burn themselves out.
Know anyone in the neighborhood with a weed whacker or chainsaw? I would appreciate free gas.
Dirtbike is a good idea, maybe even a great one, but we all know the best answer is a wankel. I need to see more RXs up in this joint.
The oil/fuel burns in a 2 cycle. it will burn in a 4 cycle. Just top lube.
My dad always put some MM in the tank with a fill up.
Dump it in your boat gas and call it good.
Long term storage fuel for anything catless. It will sit longer than plain gasoline without corroding metal and seals.
I have this problem every year because my final race of the season is 6hrs long and I can't afford to run out of fuel.
Put it in any of your vehicles. It will work fine.
I'll second using it with the new boat engine. I used to dump leftover mixed gas in whatever vehicle I was driving. The boat should be fine or use it in your car. A newer vehicle might throw a CEL but should clear with the next tank of gas.
