if you could be doing what you want to be doing instead of whatever it is you're doing right now?
I'd be working on setting up the fish/turtle room that I've been planning for the last couple weeks.

Practicing for my WRC debut.
Designing a trophy truck.
Building a motorcycle from scratch.
Writing music.
Constructing a guitar.
Exploring Australia on a dualsport.
Being on my way to Mars.
You know, the usual.
Playing video games with DW. That's basically what we did all day yesterday as we recovered from hosting about 25 family and friends at our house on Sunday. I could use another day of that.
I'd have a sim rig built and be getting back into that.
But the day job is what is going to allow me to save enough to build one again.
In no particular order:
Cleaning the shop up after the MR2 assembly
Playing Lego with my 3 year old
Riding my bicycle
Having sex with my wife
Well, that last one could just be left by itself, we do have two young kids at home so that would be better for me than a trip to Mars at this point.
I would be stomping through the woods with my dog. I don’t think I’ll be able to do that after work because the weather is supposed to turn nasty.
Fixing and selling any of the vehicles taking up space in the driveway.
Tilling the garden
Sitting on the side of the river with a joint and a fishing pole.
God I hate winter.
For a living? I'd be making something, actually producing a product I could be proud of.
For fun, I'd be learning to fly. Or going somewhere up in the mountains 100 miles from civilization just to watch the stars.
That cheesy as berk line in Baby Driver about driving west without a plan sounds nice. I think I'd be doing that.
I'd be at home working on SanFord, or the Jeep, or the Samurai, or the Abomination, or any number of other projects that are rattling around in the back of my head.
Any one of my hobbies (tube amps, cars, electronics/computers, woodworking, home remodeling, travel). As a 36 year old, I'm going to be awesome at being retired.
Taking about 6 months to not give a berkeley about anything but getting the Molvo done. Then getting on with the next adventure.
I tell myself I'd be working on my VFR, the bike with the electrical issues that I never finished actually fixing. But when I get home from work I don't want to actually be out there doing anything with it. So I'm not sure. Maybe just having arguments with myself.
Having sex with a 30 YO Sophia Loren or Anita Ekberg.
But, since that is a physical impossibility, working on my newly acquired TR-3.
Stripping one car to scrap the shell, so I can pick up the two turbo vans that I bought and the third car that was given to me so I can fix/flip two and make one of the turbo vans a new DD. I also need to post the other shell for sale as a project. THEN maybe I can finally finish the AWD turbo van.
There are bearing seals for my boat trailer sitting on my doorstep patiently waiting on me to get home. Once the wheels are on, it's time for a motor test on the muffs. And if I had the choice, it would then be time to drive to the coast and get back on the salt creeks for a few days.
Prepping for Topp Drift down in Shannonville. Also, finally wiring a 2-position switch to the yaw sensor to be able to turn the VDC all the way off.
Putting my carbs back together for my Suzuki
Working on the zephyr drag car
Riding the KTM
Putting together my plant bog
tearing down the shed to prep to build a new one
Signing papers to A) close on selling my house left from divorce and 2. close on buying my new house with fiance.
Or just vegging out on the couch, with a Lemmy, because the thought of purging all my crap has me stressed out.
