I’ve got a pretty similar setup and have been very happy with it. Bought the brushless drill/impact combo at one point in time, but found the small impact wasn’t always up to the task. So then I bought this behemoth:
If something is too stuck it tends to just break the bolt.
I may not have done as much research into the other tools makita offers, but I also have their cordless sawzall and have been very happy with every one of their products so far. Brushless is absolutely the way to go.
