Those are similar to the 8th gen Si seats which were even better from 09+. I love my seats in the 2010 Si. The 9th gen Si seats are okay. Anyways I'll take a cloth seat any day over a leather. I sweat like someone wearing four sweaters on an African summer day when in any kind of leather seating surface. Leather also requires much more cleaning and maintenace. Burns like a sommabitch in the summer here in Florida. Plus if you get a car with somewhat cheap leather is looks like garbage after a while. Different Strokes for Different Folks doe.
I like cloth seats. In fact people would bash the WRX interior but I liked it. Simple. Cloth seats that fit me well. I don't see the point in colors all over with LCD screens and leather seats. I want a basic sporty car, I don't care if it's hard plastic or whatever Jeremy Clarkson tells me I should look for.
Meanwhile I buy a Mustang GT Premium filled with LCD screens and leather....
A company should make a new RWD V8 with a minimal spartan 1980s interior and sell it for like $5000 off what Ford and GM charge for theirs. I bet there are a lot of people like me out there who would buy it.
Like this.

The E36 M3 lightweight came with cloth manual seats and they were awesome.
This is what i'm talking about right here. Except I also want 1/10th the buttons. That is a lot of buttons.

I want an e36 m3 just for that interior!
Yeah but probably 75% of those buttons do the same thing that a single knob does on most cars. Vent on, vent off, fan speed up, fan speed down, and so on.
I figure that it was their way of repenting for the E30's stupid-simple HVAC controls. They probably violated twelve different DIN regulations for difficulty of use with that. Of course, even that wasn't enough, so they had to come up with iDrive.
That is right: The E30 is the reason why iDrive was foisted upon us. Next time you feel like punching the dashboard in a modern BMW, remember that it is all because they made something too intuitive in the 80s and had to repent.
I have leather in the Disco... warmish in the winter (except for the first 30 seconds or so) and not at all hot in the summer.. and I do not use airconditioning. They are also black
I love my cloth seats. Sure, they hold my sweat and stain easily. And I get big blue static pops when I wear wool pants in the winter. They don't burn the hell out of my ass in the summertime when I wear my Daisy Dukes though, so it's all good. Granted, my experience has been with vinyl, not leather.
I do prefer manual controls, for my seats and my windows. I guess I'm just Old Skool like that. And except for the radio, my truck has one button. It's for the a/c. I like that too.

I'm indifferent and like both?
It is good to know that my wife and I are not alone in wanting cloth over pleather.
We will just suffer them as any car above base level or without recaro type sport seat will be pleather/leather.
