Hi , I want to learn Fusion 360 and it needs to run on 64bit,

I have a couple old netbooks that are 32 bit Windows 7,  can I just install the 64 bit version or does it need 64bit hardware too..

And to anyone running Fusion 360 , how much memory does it really need to not freeze up ,

I will just be doing simple things to start , if I get the hang of it I can get a better laptop.

Thanks for your advise

You'll need 64 bit hardware to run a 64 bit OS. Other way around works (32 bit OS on 64 bit hardware), but not in this particular direction.

You need more memory too.  At least 4GB, preferably 8GB or more.

I wouldn't run it on a Netbook.

You'll need to log in to post.
