I pulled the 1998 engine with the wiring harness, switches and dash pod from a bike with 23,000 miles on it. My intent was to put it in the nose of a Nash Metropolitan but I don't have the machines available to MacGuyver the offset driveshaft to line up with the rear end. I will take some pictures this afternoon.
The engine is a fuel injected 130hp 6 speed with a stainless header and cat. The engine is roughly 18" wide by 27" front to back. I have $800 into it and like to get that back. I have the gas tank that has the pump and filter inside., also the wheels. At the same time I am looking for a 4 cylinder carbed engine with a 4 or 5 speed tranny. I'm a nondenominational abuser, so Ford, Chevy, Fiat; if it runs reach out to me. If you're building a Locost ....

I have plans for a motorcycle engine in that range. Plans, but no space, and no allocated funds.
Keep me in mind if no one comes through and we'll talk?
If you have a 4 cylinder something to sell to make room ....

I have an older turbo dodge motor I was going to put towards a challenge build, can't remember right now if it is a 2.2 or 2.5. Has a FWD transmission bolted to it right now.
Just saw this... caught part on the speedster thread!
Im planing a toy with either a K75 or 1100 engine, cause I have them already! The 1200 would be fun, but in same thoughts as Mr. A.
I mentioned a chevette in va, I think it's a 4 speed. If slow is acceptable, I can look into it!
Thanks Panther, but I don't want to be hasty and make another bad decision.
Also note that I have the radiators, fans and some other bits. If you have questions or want pictures, please ask.

Ya got me drooling again! I'm barely up to competency on the electrons in the warily K bike. No clue what to go with that. Sweet smooth power though.
No clue what performance goodies can be done to that, but it sure has the look... at least to me!
And if the front suspension, front 3/4 of car, or whatever, makes it this far south, I have evil plans for it. Never seen a 3 wheeled spitfire, but I think I could successfully taper the back... maybe clean sheet is better!
