On a positive note, it's at least represented by a lower PI than the stuff it competed against.
I didn't get to fiddling with the new cars as a couple friends bought Ride.....so I was busy exploiting my 6mo advantage on them by dominating online races.....lol
I'm happily surprised that I am on pace (at least in lower classes) compared to where I was in FM4... my "team" [Ax4x] all chipped in and surprised (the hell outta) by shipping me a Forza edition XB1 this past weekend.
So what exactly is going on here. Best Forza game yet, and nobody wants to play it!
In reply to racerfink:
I'll play it, it just takes work pulling me away from Fallout and running A, B, or C classes, the ITA lobby gets old after awhile.
The lack of a dedicated C class lobby kind of killed it for me. I know it's silly, but I just don't like to race B or A on line.
In reply to Esoteric Nixon:
We should maybe pick up the C Class 2200Lb 200HP lobby that Friedgreencorrado used to run on FM4. That would involve invites and all, as there's no user created public lobbies in 6, but its better than public hoppers anyway.
In reply to Flyin Mikey J:
Count me out if that'll be the restrictions, as I said, running the ITA lobby got old.
In reply to WOW Really Paul?:
I race a lot and am on Staff at theonlineracingassociation.com. We've currently got a FM6 Touring Car series going on over there, and I'm working on a few other projects, from LeMons to American Iron, and our 24H of Daytona is just a couple months away.
However, when just wanting some fun casual races, the ITA lobby was my go-to, unless there was a Miata lobby going on. Virtual Spec Miata is a good recipe for fun racing.
Mobil 1 car pack is out.

Seems they've added a zero to some of the prize spins, among other things...

I'm looking forward to giving the Mazda a go, but am more happy to see the 58 Fury available to battle the 57 Chevy. Now all we need is an old Fairlane to recreate 1950's NASCAR.
Just an FYI... When you hit driver level 400, it's a $25 million spin bonus.
I was a bit hesitant to make the leap from 360/4 to XB1/6...
but am loving the new game.
In reply to Flyin Mikey J:
Do yourself a favor and go to "Stories of Motorsports", select the first story, select early sport compacts(IIRC), go to buy a car for that series through its menu and scroll down until you see the 1966 Nissan Silvia......this is the only place you can buy it from and it's not a badly classed little car.
In reply to WOW Really Paul?:
Already got it. Love the little classics, and have plans for hosting a league series for them at some point, along the lines of 1960s/70s TA 2.5.
In reply to Flyin Mikey J:
It's a neat little hidden gem, and is proving to be a damn fast little monster in open B class racing. If anyone asks you in an open lobby where you got it from, just tell them it's a reward for not being a wrecking douchebag in public hoppers.....the reactions are amusing
So having not actually picked up Forza 4 in a while (lost good connection, lost interest in the career mode) is Forza 6 worth getting if online interactions may be close to nonexistent?
In reply to DjGreggieP:
Oh, there's online interactions that are good, you just have to find good people to race with, and the single player is massive.
I know the interactions can be good, especially if I got in with you guys, just the internet service provider REALLY abuses the 'up to' phrasing in there contracts (re: internet is really bad at home, and they tell me its performing flawlessly if I call in) so online gaming just more frustration than its worth

IMO, the single player aspect is much better than ever, especially with "Drivatars", basically AI that take on the mannerisms of those on your friends list, as well as use their gamertag and liveries. Some of my friends are brutal fast, others are stupidly aggressive... racing "them" in single player mode is fun.
I have no one on my friends list :(
But I may need to pick it up to get my winter racing fix
My wife and son gave me Forza 6 for my birthday. I don't yet own an Xbox one, but should have one in a few weeks.
New car pack comes out later today.

They pulled it from the news feed, but it's in the forum still.
