The 2014 SCCA ProSolo rule set has been released, sporting a back-to-basics approach but with a few new twists. After several years of awarding Zone championship points and heat-leader bonuses, year-end championships will be returning to a simple formula: best two of four event finishes, plus the Finale.

Precombined classes have also been shuffled a bit, with an emphasis on keeping cars from the same preparation category together. The index used for these classes is new for 2014. It uses an objective formula based entirely on data accumulated from national solo events, with modifiers to handle the ProSolo launch variation between classes.
