need a cheap motorcycle or two? EX500 and RM125 & a sled

OK...a friend offered me her bike as she is desperate for money and it's what I want. Wife said yes, IF you clean up the garage

EX500 streetfighter. ridden almost daily. approx 20,000 miles and looking a little rough. But runs very good.

Not super fast, but no slouch. Great 1st bike and great little commuter

GRM price? $500. Tires/Chain/Plugs/etc all new in last 12 months.

1985 RM125. All plastics included. DG Pipe and silencer. very nice condition for it's age. $500 as well?

Sled

1990 Skidoo with a 462cc liquid cooled, oil injected. Cosmetically a little beat up, but a great fishing and work machine $450?

Sooo...tempted to pick up the EX...I wonder if I can get up there cheap?

I'm sure you can ;) WV isn't that far. maybe $150 round trip in gas? 614 miles according to google

I was originally thinking of hitching a ride up there and riding it back, but I don't really have the gear for that.

Borrowing a buddy's truck seems like a far better solution.

Should update this thread too....The EX500 has gone to a new rider. Look for it in Downriver Detroit

Well...on the bright side...at least it motivated me to try harder to sell a couple of projects that weren't going anywhere anyway (Going to show the AE72 Corolla in a few minutes.
