That's why there are a few cheaper knock-offs:

Oh hell no! I like original magnesium Minilites and torque thrusts, the FR500 and Enkei PF01, and painted (not black) stamped steel wheels. Polished aluminum is for Draglites or Pro Stars.

They seem to be alot more unique than te37s!

I personally like goofy wheels that nobody else has. Although I did love my advanti storms, and lots of people rock those.

OT, I can't imagine how terrible that is to ride with absolutely no mufflers.

I did that once in college, did a quick ride with no muffler as I was changing exhausts on my R6..............it was literally painful even with a helmet on.

Looks awesome though.

I like them, but can't justify the cost to performance ratio, and it seems within the honda community, everyone has them, go to a honda show and nearly every car is on them, especially the 15x8 version. I am more partial to the Advan RG or SSR Type C over the TE37., which I have a set of...

For my integra, I just picked up a set of Enkei PF01s for 500, while not forged, also have probably just as good of BBK clearance  and while they aren't rare, not many people seem to run them in 15s. Seems everyone gravitates to the RPF1, but those just weren't designed for even stock type r brakes...

I may get a set of TE37s, but I really want one of the more uncommon sizes available, 15x7.5 +43.

While they may indeed be Volks, they are not TE37's. The truck wheels like on that 4Runner are a different design and number.

Run those TE37 knockoffs on my Champcar. They look decent on there. Switching to real RPF1s next season.

You know, this gen lightning is really just like a 1.25 scale version of the same design language of the same gen brangers..

Exactly. It's a TE37X and has a completely different design. The only thing in common is the number of spokes.

I ran knockoff te37 in two different sizes on my e30. 16x8 and 17x9. I've always liked that style and thought the japanese design on a euro car fit well. But the 16s looked so much better than the 17s and I could never figured out why.

My Galant Vr4 was improved by them:

but for no reason at all, I had a set of mag blue 8 lb te37s on my DD versa hatch.

The wheels looked good. The versa was still a versa and thus could not be improved upon. The Volk locking lug nuts were more than a car payment.

That was my first thought: for what they cost, they better look good on my mother-in-law.

Can confirm, they do in fact look good on (under?) your MIL.

edit: srsly, I think I could talk my MIL into a set of knockoffs. she bought a renegade after they drove one cross-country and she liked that it was smaller and "fun". I can work with this.

The spokes would hit the fork.

I'm okay with that. Sometimes you gotta make sacrifices.

I've owned several sets of real TE37s and have owned Rota Grids. There's a significant difference in quality and lightness between the two. And I say that as someone who actually likes the Rota Grids.
