NMNA. I apologize if I'm stepping on any toes linking to another magazine's site. But I immediately knew the GRM community would be interested.

Not sure, but I try not to click on anything on GRM with a 'you need this' title as I abhor the click baitiness of it.
It's incredibly over-done. But for some reason, I can't hate it. Actually, I like it. Although it's kinda interesting that they used the 6cyl XJ-S for this and not the V12 one. I guess that does open up the manual trans option. And the AJ6 is a pretty nice engine (and much less quirky than the V12s).
I think it’s the color that keeps it relevant and not too over the top. I do hear the Miami Vice intro when looking at it though...
The 6 cyl with a 5 speed is very nearly as fast as the V12 with the old 3 speed. My father had one and it was an amazing ride for the era.
In reply to rslifkin :actually there were a few V12s with manual made by the factory( none made it here to America) or you can convert your V12 to a 5/6 speed manual gear box, either kit or DIY
That's berkeleying awesome!
I almost bought a 560SEC with the Koenig kit. It was purplish blue and way over done. I'm so mad I hesitated on that purchase.
It finally dawned on me why I think it looks funny; it's got all the cheese graters, but only half the fenders, so it sort of looks like an XJ-S doing an impression of a Deltawing.
Now if only I had an explanation as to why *that* was the only thing that really struck me as "off"...
