I remember reading the original Ford GT40 was 40" tall. Just tiny. What's the height of the NSX?

..and how did you remove the stickers intact?

In reply to OHSCrifle :

The official number for a 97-05 is 45.7".  Mine is about 2" lower than stock.  You look up at Camrys and are completely below the belt line of most small crossovers.

daily driving elise/mr2/nsx I am used to very low height cars

Took me total 11 hours to remove all stickers, intact, preserve them

nails + patience + razors + alcohol + mistresses hair dryer

Had to be done. Significant value of this car is its history and story

That's incredibly cool and about what I would expect from you, ha.

Just saw your previous post how you are keeping them in an album.  What a neat compliment to that car's pedigree.

Haha thanks! OCD as always.

I think the car deserves it and the way the ex owner handled it, I should continue.

Although the car getting wet, being outside, and driven at night - already has violated how it lived its previous life!!

Congrats on the car!  Just saw this and what a great read.  I have an Elise as well and just added a C8 to the stable.  Both mid-engine rwd and that's about where the comparisons end.  Still haven't found anything that comes close to the steering feel of the Elise but so much to love about the C8.  Would love to see how much the NSX differs.  Enjoy, looks like you have some amazing roads out there!

Yay, another Elise owner.smiley

I have had mine since new -

ordered - driven cross country.

I am over 137 cars in my lifetime- EVO 9 MR steering has been closest to Elise so far.

Enjoy that C8.

Midengine RWD is definitely my jam.

Evo not really for sale as NSX and Evo has no overlap.

Having said that - EVO is gone. GRM friend took it
