I am about to sell my blue 99 SI. I am trying to figure out what a reasonable price is for it. It has 180k miles. The timing belt, water pump, distributor cap, rotor, ignition coil, spark plug wires, spark plugs, fuel filter, valve cover gasket and upper spark plug tube gaskets were recently done. It has Tien coilovers, DC Sports rear lower brace and front strut brace, DC Sports header and AEM intake. It has some of the original parts still. Aftermarket wheels with newer Conti summer tires. The bad is that the clutch is nearing the end of its life and it has some rough cosmetic spots (broken driver's side door handle, scuff on bumper). It also had an audio system installed it at one point and it has an aftermarket alarm with remote start.
What is a reasonable price to offer this car at? I am seeing a number around $6000 give or take a few hundred bucks so I was thinking $5500 for this one.

A friend had a '00 Si totalled about two years ago now. It had few less mile ≈130k. The insurance paid out $7,500.
Yes, I think if it didn't need a clutch $6000 would be a fair price, so figure in the clutch and you get to around $5500.
I'd replace the clutch and sell it for $6000.
In reply to chaparral :
Yeah I should but to be honest I don't feel like putting any more time or money into it. The clutch isn't slipping but the travel is getting pretty long.
I will probably list it for a good deal on here this weekend.
How many times has it been stolen? I heard after the 3rd time it starts to effect the pricing.
LOL, neat car, good luck with sale.

Here is a comparable. Has a swap and needs some body work.
2000 Civic Si

It seems like a motor swap would cause a pretty major hit on the cars value.
You have a 99 Si in Blue? Wow, that is a really rare color for that car, that should help it stand out. (LOL)
This one was listed at $5k cash with 145,000
These prices seem to me as just nuts. My employee just got a 2014 Honda accord with 40K on it for $7,500.
Three Si's with in 200 miles of me. (Two are blue)

With yours needing a clutch soon and the millage being what it is to me it is a $3500 car at best. Probably not what you want to hear. The one listed said it has 66K. Probably 166 but if it really is 66k at $3K that looks like a really good deal.

That $3k seems like a great deal or a scam cause I never seen any that cheap that were running. The $4.2k is a theft recovery.
There are two in my area for sell I have found for $4500 and $6000. The $6k one has a depowered rack and the $4.5k looks to be in decent shape but no real description.
I am thinking I will put it up here for $4k firm.
