I'm not usually one for killing things in the name of art, but fire ants suck, so that's some beautiful art.

When you try it in Africa, things get a little bigger.

I was just thinking the same thing. I've got some moles running amok in my backyard. I suspect that even if I used aluminum, the resulting "sculpture" would weigh upwards of 200 lbs. and be fairly large and awkward to handle.

Good return on a few hours of labor and some scrap aluminum from the junkyard.

i remember seeing something about this, iirc they used concrete and pumped like 2 trucks full of the stuff into the ground to fill it up.

I'm gonna do that on a fire ant mound at the earliest opportunity. Serves the biting stinging little bastards right.

Hmmmm....wonder what a red ant mound would do. They are helpful though.
