At this point, it is less of a trailer tire and more of a IED with the timer set to some unknown between .5 seconds and 2 years.
I remember her! And that Mazda 626 hubcap might have belonged to my parent's car!
The Hubcap Lady
On Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton was the home of Mrs. Eva (Mary) Chudy, who sold hubcaps. She started when she found a hubcap in front of her house, she propped it up against a tree in her front yard, hoping that the driver would see it and pick it up. Instead, other people brought her additional hubcaps. A business was born!
Eventually, she had thousands of hubcaps on her property and always knew exactly where to look whenever someone needed a replacement. She was known throughout the area as the "hubcap lady".
She was born Ewa Urban in Koneczna, Poland on January 6, 1911. She grew up in a one-room home with a straw roof that had a stall for cows and chickens. She immigrated to the U. S. in 1925, illegally using her cousin, Mary Sobin passport, who was born in Conn., but had moved back to Europe.
On Sept. 7, 1935 she married John Chudy Jr. still using the name Mary Sobin, and together they built their house at 738 Bridgeport Avenue.
In 1939, the U.S. government learned of her false identity, so she was forced to go to Canada so that she could re-enter using a new visa with her real name. Even after this, she still went by the name Mary.
Prior to her famous lawn hubcap business she sold grave decorations called "blankets" and "pillows", which were made from mountain laurel and other greens that grew on their property.
She died on Oct. 24, 2002 in Mariner Health Care Center in Ansonia.

For sure. I noticed a new vibration at 65 towing the boat so I checked the tires at the next convenience store. Then I changed tires in the parking lot. Those damn tires aren't even 3 years old and have less than 5k miles on them. Well...just proves that my plan to upgrade to a beefier trailer is spot on.
I kinda want to set the tire up and try to plink the bulge with my .22
Trailer tires piss me off, because you could take the P metrics off an Impala you found in the junkyardstick them on a trailer, and drive for a decade, or until some mirrored glass wearing douche writes you a ticket for not having trailer rated tires.
Which last 20,000km or 3 years...
