Finally, something good in FL...

I'm not talking about FL beaches, I'm talking about the pineapples ripening in my "flower" beds.

I was hoping for more zombies :(

We had a pineapple plant, took like 3 yrs to make a tiny pineapple, then it died.

Persistance helps. I have about 20 plants in my back yard....only six are fruiting right now, and that's the best I've done so far. They need to get a decent root to grow fruit.

I don't know, I thought these things were pretty good in Florida...

Yeah, I went down to watch friends run at Sebring last weekend. I still like my pineapple. (going to put it in a fruit salad with some of the mangoes off my sister's tree.)
