I can't get "SpeedCast" to work today.
I took the day off work today just so I could watch. Saturday and Sunday are booked solid doing kid things, so today was it.
This Link is awesome. They have the live video with lap times & colored sector times on the bottom.
Spec Miata is about to start. These guys don't always like each other and race accordingly. It's been noted the bad feelings have already begun with complaints about car prep in practice and qualifying.

Came back to this thread to say this.
That's nuts. Fantastic? Terrible?
Now I'm curious to see if anyone fails that inspection
Welcome to Spec Racing folks! It ain't a race until someone gets protested.

Thanks, I got to watch the afternoon races. Good racing! I sure am glad to see a dry runoffs and being @ Laguna Seca adds so much to it.

Thanks, no problem. Glad I was able to help out. I enjoyed watching the AS race. Whatever formula they are running for that is the one the current TransAm series should be running. Any race series where there is too much power for the tires makes for great entertainment. Good stuff!

Rumor has it that eight of the nine protested failed post-race tech. If that is true, there will certainly be appeals. I really didn't think that SCCA had it in them to DQ eight of the top ten at the Runoffs. It looks like I may have that one wrong.
This will change SM.
The guy who protested had to put up a $1,400 bond for each car. There is talk that this was a group effort to raise that much $$$. They may just get most of their money back.
Today will be interesting for the future direction of SM.
