so a lot of people in my facebook universe have been talking about the new season of that biker show on cable... i decided to make this and put it as my facebook background image:
so, will enough people want to kill me to make it worthwhile?

oooh... so close... one word off...
Is Katy Segal in this? Someone, a young girl no less, just posted she just loved Katy's character in SOA. Based solely upon the picture in the OP I'm not sure a young girl should be watching it.
Thank you! I hate that dumb show and everyone that is or wants to be an outlaw biker. I have family that is involved in the real 1%'er motorcycle club world, and let me say- what a stupid way for someone to live or aspire to live. Why would anyone even try to glorify it with that dumb tv show.

The same reason they glorify boozy, philandering 1960s ad men, science teachers turned drug kingpin, family mobsters, renegade cops and smarmy lawyers: Because they make compelling narrative.
Once I started thinking of SOA as a genre show and not a drama show I liked it a lot more. It ain't art, but it's a well-written show that's not afraid to shake things up from week to week. I wouldn't put it on the Mad Men/Breaking Bad tier, but it's a damn sight better than 90% of the stuff being broadcast these days.

WOW!!! I haven't seen Police Academy 1 in at least 15 years!!
Police Academy 2 on the other hand.. I watch it several times a year when my brothers are down!! Zed is the E36 M3!! We always watch pt 2 because of how cool Zed is.. To bad he somehow became a cop, in the later movies..
It's interesting TV because most people's lives fall well within social norms. Criminality, danger, drugs, and lascivious people are exotic, and automatically intriguing.

Checkout Weeds or the movie, Arlington Road for some interesting film making :)

That one gets locked away in the emergency spank bank. You know, just in case everything else runs out.
