1954 Stanguellini 750 Sport
I think the sign says, "one of a handful of race cars built by Vitorio Stanguellini, these cars dominated the Italian 750 class from 1950 to 1954. The Stanguellini featured a tubular chassis, transverse leaf spring front suspension with a solid rear axle. The motor, which is a jewel of metallurgy, was built entirely in Stanguellini's shop. Imported by Briggs Cunningham, chassis CSO4090 Won its class at Watkins Glen in 1954."
