My dad's box also contains (among other distributor ignition related things) a snap on timing light old enough to have a 6 volt mode that still works perfectly.

That toolbox has been discussed several times on the Garage Journal board...they were apparently made by Park, but they were sold through a number of different stores with slightly different graphics. My very first toolbox was one of those; it came from JC Penney, and had the same stripe except without the little cartoon character. http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=254548
