I snagged this from another forum and it's the first time I've heard anything about it. It would be neat to see some grassroots-minded cars in the mix, as opposed to simply all the usual high dollar suspects. But given the entry fee, that may not be the case.

WANTED! - Participants for exciting new Reality TV Series to Air this Fall on NBC
A handful of lucky drivers will get the chance to test their driving skills on 10 closed public roads in 10 States beginning in May of 2010 and these events will be filmed for a Reality TV Series.
Participants will get to race their cars on some of the most scenic and exciting closed public roads. This is a competition for individuals interested in showing, not telling, everyone what they are made of behind the wheel. If you think you have the stuff and want to prove it on National TV, here is your chance.
All of the details are available at www.robinhoodrally.com. The site is currently password protected, so if you are interested in participation send me an email and I will send you the access information.
Many things have changed from 2009. The cost to compete is now $5k, you compete in your own vehicle, you must pass a TV screening interview, and we now have a great line up of prizes worth more than $500k including a Ferrari F430, a Porsche Turbo, and a Corvette Z51.
We have already begun accepting participant applications and received 25 last week alone. Next week we will open Rally registration to the public. If this is something that you want to do then now is the time.
We are accepting 100 participants. Thanks and Happy Holidays!
